Starting Batch #6 using special rice given by a friend. This is premium rice from Shonai region [庄内地方] in Yamagata prefecture [山形県], the rice capital of Japan. He brought this 10 pound bag of rice (!) from his in-laws’ rice farm on the family trip to Japan.   We are very honored to be able to brew Sake from such precious rice. Thank you, Ian!
